About

Meet Your Practitioner

Hi! I’m Brie. I am a registered Oral Health Therapist; Graduating from The University of Melbourne in 2012 and finishing top of my year with first class honors. I have been in the dental industry for over 20 years and have worked alongside many dental specialists in my time.

I pride myself on being an empathetic, compassionate and gentle clinician. My kind and caring personality allows patients to warm to me easily and I quickly build a genuine and trusting professional relationship with all my patients’. A high level of patient care is my priority and I am committed to providing a personalised and individual treatment approach; with a strong emphasis on education and allowing patients to make an informed decision. Prevention is better than a cure and I am committed to improving the oral health of every patient I see.

I love the outdoors and spending time with my family and friends. My two beautiful and cheeky young children keep me busy. We are always out and about walking, riding or exploring the many nature reserves, parks or beaches we are lucky to be surrounded by.

Call or message now to see how I can assist you with your oral health needs.

I look forward to meeting you.

Approach & Values

Everyone should have access to preventative dental care! My aim is to improve access to care by providing an exceptional service that comes to you. Poor oral health can inhibit the ability to eat, speak and socialise due to pain, discomfort and embarrassment. Studies have identified a direct correlation between dental disease and an increased risk of cardiovascular disease, stroke, bacterial pneumonia, diabetes mellitis and pregnancy complications such as low birth weight. I prioritise preventative dental care and education to empower my patients’ to take control of their oral health. My promise is to show you the utmost respect, be honest, kind and caring; to listen to your concerns and speak to you respectfully. I also expect the same from you. I work collaboratively with local dentists and specialists to provide an essential and wholistic preventative approach.

Regular attendance and completion of continuing professional development courses (60 hours per 3 year cycle is mandatory) feed my passion for learning. I take safety and infection control very seriously. Sterile, single use instruments are used for each individual patient and are disposed of in a safe and sustainable manner. Any reusable items are processed in a TGA approved autoclave that meets Australian standards. These instruments are processed and recorded in line with infection control guidelines. All other Australian dental guidelines and standards are met and strictly followed.

I am a member of the Australian Dental Hygienists Association and are partnered with the Home Visit Network – Mobile Home Care Services.
