My portable compact dental unit has everything I need to examine, diagnose and treat your preventative dental needs. I bring a reclining chair, or you can choose to lay back in your favourite arm chair. You can stay in your Pj’s, slippers or trackies and be cozy and comfortable in the privacy of your own home.

Home visits are ideal for:

Those working from home – Stay warm or cool in the comfort of your own home, no need to be exposed to the elements by traveling to and from your appointment.

Parents of babies and young children – No need to wake your sleeping baby or rush between feed times. No need to haul all of your baby’s essential items and/ or their siblings, entertainment and snacks to your appointment. I am a mum too. The struggle is REAL. Let your baby sleep or your children play with their toys in their own space whilst you attend to YOU for a change. Children under 5yrs old are eligible for a free check up. Those who are physically impaired – and require the use of home aids, or who are bedridden. I work around your environment, not the other way around.

People who have anxiety and/ or dental phobias – I come to you in your own personal, safe environment without the exaggerated noise and smells of a typical dental surgery; allowing you to naturally relax and feel more at ease. 

 

What to expect:

Firstly, I take a comprehensive medical history, dental history and complete an oral assessment to assess your oral health status. I pride myself in taking the time to discuss these findings as well as all possible treatment options available. I love working with you as a team to achieve optimal oral health.  

A Dental clean is typically conducted at the same appointment. Dental cleans are carried out to remove bacteria harbouring calcified plaque, known as calculus (tartar) from the teeth and below the gums. It is important to remove this build up regularly to prevent gingivitis and its progression to periodontal (gum) disease.
